Before you buy more than one  fishes you have to know the type of fish first. There are fishes that are not capable of living with another type of fish. In this case they may fight and may kill each other inside the fish tank. You should not be doing this. If you do, then you might end up seeing your aquarium filled with dead fishes. This is one of the common problems among fish lovers. There are individuals who don’t want to raise fish anymore because of what just happened. You should always remember that every failure is learning. Be sure to prevent this from happening again if you already experienced this situation.

Next, let us move on to what size of fish you are to choose. There are numerous types of fishes that have different sizes. You must first determine the size of the aquarium before choosing a type of fish. In a certain area size of an aquarium there is a limit of how many fishes you are to place inside. A small size aquarium would have a limit of three to four fishes. The medium size aquarium would require a limit of five to eight fishes. A large aquarium has a limit of ten to twelve fishes. This is done to prevent overcrowding inside the fish tank. You must also remember that the more fishes you have the quicker the aquarium will become polluted.  Therefore fish tank care must be done in a regular basis.

Here are some tips and procedures to follow in cleaning your fish tank. First step is to clean the base of the tank using a brush and a soap solution. Then, move on to the side of the fish tank brushing it back and fort using the same materials. Always remember to avoid using hard bristled brush since this can create a scratch on your fish tank. If stains cannot be removed by soap, try using an anti-stain solution. Make sure that the agent is washed away before putting back the fish inside the container. In drying the fish container it must not be placed under the heat of the sun. This will result to building up of stains brought about by evaporated water.  After washing the container you should wipe it with a dry cloth then fill the fish tank with adequate water.  Prepare the water tank regulator. Make sure it is properly functioning. Fish tank accessories must also be properly cleaned. Stains from these equipments must also be removed to lessen water pollution. After completing the above procedures you can now put back the fishes inside the tank.
